Dog's dinner

Skinner samples canine delicacy

Frank Skinner has eaten dog for a World Cup travel programme.

He sampled the culinary delicacy while in Korea, filming the hour-long documentary Kimonos For Goalposts.

The comic also met Hur Nam-jin, the Korean king of keepy-uppy who holds the world record for keeping a football in the air - 18 hours and 11 minutes - and visits a shaman to undergo a ritual designed to make him a better player.

Soccer-mad Skinner also met Hong Duk Young, who let in the most goals ever in a World Cup tournament (nine), and Dalian Atkinson, the former Aston Villa striker who is the only British player in the Korean league.

Kimonos For Goalposts will be screened on ITV1 on May 18.
