Wood heads torture victim benefit

Victoria Wood is to headline a benefit gig to aid survivors of torture.

She tops the bill of the Taking Liberties comedy show in the West End's Piccadilly Theatre on May 19.

Others on the bill are Chris Addison, Adam Bloom, Omid Djalili, Jo Enright, John Hegley and The League Against Tedium.

The show will raise money for the Medical Foundation for the Care of Survivors of Torture.

Tickets to the event, which starts at 7pm, are priced from £14 to £32.50 and available from the theatre box office on 020 7369 1764.
