Eddie's suspected coronary

Eddie Large has suffered a suspected heart attack.

The 60-year-old comedian was recovering in Papworth Hospital, Cambridgeshire, where he is said to be in a stable condition.

He has been moved out of intensive care, where he has spent the last four days after being admitted with chest pains.

His wife Patsy told the Sunday People: "He is progressing well."

And agent Peter Pritchard said: "He is in his usual high spirits."

The 16-stone funnyman has been unwlell since a Variety Club awards ceremony, where he collected an accolade for his charity work.
