A group of comics are hoping for a place in the Guinness Book Of Records after 45 acts appeared on stage in 45 minutes.

Acts including Noel James, Big and Daft, Ubersausage and Dominic Frisby hit their target at the fast-paced gig in Edinburgh last night.

The book's compilers had asked for a video of the event to be sent to them while they consider whether the record is worthy of inclusion.
