Woody Allen ticket frenzy

A Woody Allen gig has sold out in just four minutes.

Tickets for his jazz performance in Seattle next Wednesday were in hot demand because he rarely performs music outside of his native New York.

And tickets for two other gigs - in San Francisco and Los Angeles - went in ten minutes

His group, Eddy Davis & His New Orleans Jazz Band, has a Monday-night residency at Manhattan's Carlyle Hotel, and toured Europe in 1996, as documented in the film Wild Man Blues.

But he decided to take the band on its first gigs of Amerca to coincide with the release of his new film, Curse Of The Jade Scorpion.
