More comics join Iain Stirling's Buffering
Sitcom launches on ITV2 next month
Comedians Lolly Adefope, Michael Spicer and Joel Dommett are to guest star on Iain Stirling’s new sitcom Buffering, it has been announced.
The semi-autobiographical show, set to air on ITV2 next month, is based on a children’s TV presenter with an aversion to kids and in an up-and-down relationship with TV producer Olivia.
Other guest stars on the six-part comedy will include Vicky Pattison, Alistair Green, Nigel Ng, Sam Womack and Phil Fletcher, programme-makers Avalon announced today.
They join the previously announced cast that includes Jessie Cave, Paul G Raymond, Rosa Robson and Janine Harouni as Iain’s flatmates and Elena Saurel as Olivia.
Stirling wrote the series with fellow comic Steve Bugeja, and it will be directed by Martin Stirling, whose credits include Inside No. 9 and The Mind of Herbert Clunkerdunk.
