Mo Gilligan became a breakout star through his online videos, notably with his 'Coupla Cans' catchphrase. It led to his own late-night Channel 4 show as well as being a sidekick on The Big Narstie show with the same broadcaster. Originally performing as 'Mo The Comedian', he started in comedy in 2007 and was a finalist in the Laughing Horse new act of the year 2013.

Second Netflix special for Mo Gilligan

There's Mo To Life taped at the Hammersmith Apollo

Mo Gilligan has recorded a second Netflix stand-up special.

His show, There's Mo To Life, was recorded at the Hammersmith Apollo in London on his recent UK tour, and will be released in 190 countries on February 17.

The comedian broke the news to his 855,000 Instagram followers, writing: ‘After the success of the tour in the UK, I'm so excited that the world can finally watch my stand-up special. For me, it's [my] favourite body of work and I hope you guys are going to enjoy it as much as I did making it.’

It is his second special for the streaming service, following Momentum in 2019 and has been produced by his own company, Momo G Productions, andy Lucky 7, the production company run by his agents.

Gilligan is currently a judge on ITV’s The Masked Singer, is hosting this year's Brit Awards and is working on a British version of US comedy gameshow That's My Jam for the BBC.
