Dawn French banned from driving
Comic racks up 12 points in 3 years
Dawn French has been banned from driving for six months after racking up her fourth speeding ticket in three years.
The comedian, 68, hit the 12-point limit on her licence after she was caught driving her £31,000 Mini Clubman at 36mph in a 30mph zone in Plymouth, Devon, in June last year.
Her solicitor told Plymouth magistrates’ court that French had pleaded guilty and accepted she would receive a ban, The Sun reports.
The Vicar Of Dibley star was also ordered to pay £930 in fines, surcharges and costs.
