On the tenth anniversary of the Brexit referendum, it's time for a Frenchman to explain how it all unfolded. And in verse.

Marcel Lucont, the comedy alter-ego of stand-up Alexis Dubus, has released this poem offering an account of the turbulent vote leading up to the decision that, economists say, costs the UK six per cent of its economy every year.
