2026 ratecard

Advertising bookings are now being taken on Chortle for the 2026 Edinburgh Fringe.

We are the country's go-to site for live comedy information – and operate year-round to build up an audience for our respected reviews, news and listings.

Over August 2025, we received a total of 160,000 unique visitors, racking up 2million page views.

Every one of our readers is seeking information about comedy, so the perfect audience for your show. And although comedy fans make up by far the majority of our vast audience, we are the most respected site for the comedy industry, too – so you'll also be spreading the word to all the decision-makers.

We also commit that a professional critic will review every show spending at least £275 on advertising - although no promises can be made on who it is, when the show is seen... or, of course, whether they will like it!

The rates below are

Rate A: For any single week

Rate B: For three weeks. Either build-up: July 19 to August 8; or the bulk of the festival, August 9 to 30. It's the same as two single weeks.  (Any other combo of three weeks is counted as 3xRate A)

Rate C: For the full six weeks: July 19 to August 30. It's the same as three single weeks, and so represents the best value

These rates are the total you'll pay, plus VAT. They will not be discounted, so everyone is on a level playing field, although package deals will be available if you are booking several campaigns for several shows. Alternatively, you can share the impressions of a single booking between more than one show.

If you book a slot, you will get at least 25% of the impressions (but you may well get more exposure than that). You will get the whole space but only on that proportion of pages.
