Mrs Merton DVDs to be won

The five-disc release contains all 31 instalments Caroline Aherne ‘s spoof chat show, which ran from 1993 to 1998, inlcuiding the pilot episode and three Christmas specials.

The show is released as Mrs Merton’s withering put-down to Debbie Magee, below, is included in a Radio Times list of the best ever TV insults.

Other celebrities the ‘pensioner’ interviewed during the course of the series included Ken Livingstone, Steve Coogan, Lorraine Kelly, Chris Eubank, Ant & Dec and Jonathan Ross.
