According to Ticketmaster web traffic

Kevin Bridges was the most popular comedy act of 2014, according to Ticketmaster.

The Clydebank-born 28-year-old embarks on a 99-date tour next year, and the agency says more customers are searching for his tickets online than anyone else.

The next comic on the list is Lee Evans who had announced his retirement at the end of his 65-date Monsters tour.

At number three is Mrs Brown’s Boys.

Ticketmaster UK managing director, Andrew Parsons said: ‘The UK comedy scene continues to go from strength to strength, and it great to see the diversity of comedy reflected in tent top 10, as the acts featured hail from a variety of regions and cover a wide range of comedy styles.

‘While many of the acts on this year’s list are established and well-loved acts, with the retirement of big names such as Lee Evans, it will be exciting who steps in to fill these places in years to come.’

The top ten is

1.    Kevin Bridges
2.    Lee Evans
3.    Mrs. Brown's Boys
4.    Michael McIntyre
5.    John Bishop
6.    Phoenix Nights Live
7.    Still Game: Live
