Prince Abdi has become the second comedian to be kicked off ITV reality programme Show Me The Funny.
For the second week running he was in the bottom two comedians, as decided by judges Alan Davies, Kate Copstick and guest Bob Mortimer.
As 28-year-old Prince left the stage, one of the audience said: He lost the plot a bit. He rambled on about some house. It made no sense whatsoever.’
Aptly enough given Mortimer once made a show of the same name, the comedians were in Catterick, performing to an audience of Scots Guards.
Earlier in the show, Cole Parker got a dressing down from a drill sergeant – after cutting the buttocks out of his fatigues.
The officer raged: ‘Him with his arse hanging out of his combats, get him in my office that fucker!’
He added: ‘I didn’t find it funny and I don’t think any of the squad did so he might be in for a bit of a rough night [at the gig].’
Parker admitted: ‘I may have shot myself in the foot here’ – but he survived for another week, despite struggling at the gig.
Host Jason Manford said during Parker’s set: ‘It’s a problem when a heckler gets a bigger laugh than you!'
