Her's the first look at Liam Neeson in Naked Gun reboot.

The Taken star plays Frank Drebin Jr, the son of Leslie Nielsen’s original character, who is acknowledged in the teaser trailer (with even OJ Simpson's role in the franchise being give a nod).

The short clip features  Drebin foiling a bank robbery after sneaking into the scene disguised as a schoolgirl.

The cast of the reboot also includes Pamela Anderson and Paul Walter Hauser as the son of George Kennedy’s Captain Ed Hocken from the originals.

The Naked Gun is due to hit American cinemas on August 1.

Paramount  released this trailer at CinemaCon in Las Vegas yesterday.
