New festive song from The Gorgeous Diva (aka Jay Bennett)

Musical comedy character The Gorgeous Diva has released a festive single, The True Meaning of Christmas.

The singer is the creation of Jay Bennett, who also performs as Yasmine Day, 

In character, she said: 'I had an absolutely wonderful time recording my ‘Christmas Number One’ (have you heard about manifestation yet?) and shooting the music video alongside my hunky Christmas dinner guests.

'I think our society so rarely considers the true meaning of Christmas so I thought, hang on, what’s it all about? I think you’ll find that I’ve answered that question - as well as a few others. Merry Christmas.'

The song will also be released on Bandcamp for a minimum price of £1 to support The Trussell Trust.
