Proof Die Hard is a Christmas movie

Die Hard has been given the Cassetteboy treatment to mark its 30th anniversary.

The clip aims to settle once and for the argument whether the Bruce Willis actioner counts as a Christmas movie.

And the mashup duo prove that with a bit of clever editing, the movie becomes a unique version of the 12 Day of Christmas.

Cassetteboy was commissioned by Sky Cinema to create the new video to celebrate Die Hard landing on the service.

Die Hard's writer Steven E. de Souza has said it was a traditional festive film – but Willis has insisted that it isn't, it just happens to be set on Christmas Eve.

Ian Lewis, director of Sky Cinema said: 'I don’t know why we even debate this every year. Die Hard is the biggest Christmas movie of all time. The proof is all in the script.'
