Review by Steve Bennett

Description

Mummenschanz slide, bounce, bound, slither, roll, skip, jump and wobble their way onto the stage at the George Square Theatre this year with a brand new Edinburgh Festival Fringe show celebrating over 30 years since their inception.

Mummenschanz have revolutionized the world of mime and silent comedy by blending dance, mask-play, theatre and puppetry into an enchantingly beautiful, wordless world of eccentrically playful humour and fantastic shapes. They have been responsible for devising startling innovations and revising traditional methods of performance in remarkable ways that have opened thealmost forgotten world of the wordless performance to new generations of fans everywhere.
