Paddy Lennox – Original Review

Note: This review is from 2002

Review by Steve Bennett

Lennox, a likeable Dave Allen soundalike who combines topical material with observational routines, is somewhat lacking in the distinctiveness department.

Much of his set is easily forgettable, such as an hugely overextended routine about the earth-shattering fact that in Switzerland cows wear bells, though a lot of it is amiably amusing at the time.

But he also commits that heinous crime against comedy - the wanking routine with the 'and I got off the Tube' pay-off, for which he just cannot be forgiven.
