Paul Hickman – Original Review

Note: This review is from 2000

Review by Steve Bennett

Hickman's act is pretty much a torrent of puns, squeezing an number of gags out of a couple of props, most notably a book and a couple of stuffed lions. Like Tim Vine, whose act this closely resembles, Hickman gets laughs from the cumulative effect of this relentless onslaught. A fine performer.
