Surprise reunion on the Claudia Winkleman Show
Guz Khan has a touching reunion with some of his former pupils on tomorrow night's Claudia Winkleman Show.
After telling the host how he adopted a 'good big brother/fun uncle' approach while he was a teacher in the West Midlands, his ex-students surprised him on stage.
One of them told the Man Like Mobeen creator: 'When you come from Coventry, and from a South Asian background, you’re not always pushed to do something creative.
'But I went to uni, I passed, I got an art degree, and I’ve just moved back from Toronto where I worked for two years abroad – all because I saw what you did, going outside the norms.'
Other guests on the second-ever edition of Winkleman's show – which airs on BBC One at 10.40pm on Friday - are Irish comic Joanne McNally, actor Rachel Zegler and singer-songwriter Niall Horan, formerly of One Direction.
