Victor Meldrew's house could be yours...

Gnomes not included

comedyVictor Meldrew’s house is up for sale.

The Dorset home that featured in exterior scenes of One Foot In The Grave from series two onwards is on the market for £337,500.

The three-bedroom property in Christchurch is described as a ‘well presented, terraced house… in a lovely, quiet location’ by estate agent Mitchells.

Most of the sitcom was filmed in a studio, the house was used for exterior shots – such as the their front garden being filled with gnomes to a car being dumped in the skip they'd hired.

The Christchurch property was last put on the market for £249,000 a decade ago, with the agents saying it ‘has been rented successfully for a number of years and is ready to move into straight away.’

In the BBC series, Victor and wife Margaret moved to the terraced house after their previous  home was burnt down.

One Foot In The Grave is currently being aired on U&Yesterday, and streaming on U and ITVX.
