Does Rob Auton look like a homeless person?
The Sun thinks so...
As a low-key whimsical comedian, Rob Auton is an unlikely addition to the showbiz pages of The Sun.
But the stand-up has made the tabloid today… but rather ignominiously described merely as a ‘homeless person’.
He was pictured with Danny Dyer on the set of forthcoming movie Marching Powder – but the caption read: ‘The actor was photographed sitting outside a restaurant with a homeless person.’
The accompanying story repeats the error, saying: ‘Wearing a blue bomber jacket, a £550 Burberry House Check shirt and jeans, [Dyer]’s been photographed sitting outside an Italian restaurant with a homeless person.’
The mistake didn’t escape Auton’s attention, and he tweeted: ‘Errr the actor was photographed sitting outside a restaurant with actor, comedian, and winner of Dave joke of the fringe 2013 I think you’ll find.’

Auton posted a similar picture from the set a couple of days ago:
I had a top time on the set of MARCHING POWDER- the new film from Nick Love. Apologies to Danny Dyer for the press intrusion and people asking for selfies. "Wow I can’t believe you get to be in a scene with the guy responsible for my favourite daily podcast. Can I have a selfie?" pic.twitter.com/SGPDNvtp7G

Marching Powder is a sequel to The Football Factory, in which the 46-year-old Dyer reprises the role of Chelsea hooligan Tommy Johnson, 20 years on. It is due out later this year, but it has not been announced what role Auton plays.
