My Dad Wrote A Porno gets its own beers

Brewer honours top podcasts

comedyIf your dad wrote bad erotic fiction, you’d probably need  a stiff drink to read it…

Which is why it makes perfect sense that a new range of new craft beers are to be released to mark the forthcoming sixth season of hit podcast My Dad Wrote A Porno.

Manchester-based brewers ABC will launch three new brews inspired by the hit show:

Heaven On A Hatstand: A 6 per cent chardonnay-inspired ale named after a favourite expression from the boos

Nectar Of The Norse Gods: A 4 per cent pomegranate pale ale – the flavour inspired by one of author Rocky Flintstone most memorable metaphors for breasts

Belinda’s Ruin: A 5 per cent gin & tonic IPA, named in honour of the heroine of the stories.

The beers will be launched on May 3, ready for the launch of series six of the podcast - hosted by Jamie Morton, James Cooper, and Alice Levine, below - on  May 24.
