Fans left hanging as comic wasn't told about his own show

comedyImpressionist Jon Culshaw has told of the shock  of missing his own gig at the weekend – as he just didn’t know about it.

The comic was forced to apologise for his no-show at the Norden Farm Theatre in Maidenhead, Berkshire, on Saturday – blaming ‘human error’ at his agents office.

He was relaxing at home when he should have been on stage – when a panicked phone call alerted him to the mix-up.

The 51-year-old told Chris Evans on his Virgin Radio breakfast show, today: ‘I was scheduled to do a show there…. [but] I was never told about the show."

‘I was just enjoying a quiet night off at home when the phone rings." It's like one of those dreams that you have.

‘The audience were there and, you know, just human error at my agent's office. We were never told about the show. Was one of those things that can slip through.’

‘I must apologise. It makes you feel queasy.’

The venue ended up showing a film instead.
