Hold the front page! Brad's on the Jim Jefferies show again
Daily Star splashed on the comedy weatherman
Brad Pitt's return to the Jim Jefferies Show has made front-page news today.
The A-lister returned to the Comedy Central US show earlier in the week to play the weatherman warning of the terrors of climate change.
He had previously been 'fired' from the show, but returned to forecast: 'We got sunshine in the west, the south, the east and over here in the north, the ice caps are melting. And I am so, so, so, so scared.'
Pitt also started his segment with the 'joke': 'I was hanging out with LeBron James and he said, "How's the weather down there?" Because he's tall.
'And I said, "The same as it is up there: changing at a pace not before seen in the history of man. Your legacy is pointless. Our people and our memories will all burn."'
Despite the bleakness of Brad's long-range forecast, the Daily Star used a near full-page picture of him on the front of today's edition, for a jaunty story about how temperatures are to hit 25C in the UK this bank holiday weekend.
'Hollywood superstar Brad Pitt becomes a TV weatherman as Britain heads for a 25C heatwave,' ran the first sentence
It was previously reported that Pitt is paid the basic rate of $400 for his appearances on the Jim Jefferies show.
