Underrepresented performers make a point with Fringe photoshoot

Almost 60 women, queer, trans and non-binary performers have taken part in an Edinburgh Fringe photocall as they called on the arts and media world not to overlook them.

The Count Us In campaign aimed to challenge the idea that underrepresented acts are hard to find and came with the slogan: ‘We’re not missing. We’re being missed.’

Signs held by the performers included ‘hard to find? look harder’, ‘we’re not missing' and ‘Count us. Book us. Pay us.’
