Ventnor Fringe comedy line-up announced, with loads of Edinburgh previews

The Isle of Wight’s biggest arts festival has announced its comedy programme for this summer,.

Ventnor Fringe has confirmed more than 130 shows across comedy, circus, cabaret, theatre and music, running from July 17 to July 26.

The festival is often used by comedians try out new material or run final previews before the Edinburgh Fringe in August. This year's line-up includes several Edinburgh Comedy Award winners and nominees including Ahir Shah (pictured), Sam Nicoresti and  Joe Kent-Walters in the guise of Frankie Monroe

Others appearing include Felicity Ward, Tom Ballard, Lara Ricote, Rob Auton, Glenn Moore, Pierre Novellie, Rosie Holt, Garrett Millerick and Lou Wall.

Tickets are on sale now at vfringe.co.uk, with some events still to be announced.
