Now rebranded One More Laugh

BBC Asian Network’s annual comedy show is to return, newly renamed as One More Laugh.

The 2016 edition of will be hosted by  Dinesh Nathan at the BBC Radio Theatre, London on Friday January 30..

The night will feature an incredible line-up hosted by comedian and content creator Dinesh Nathan, who previously performed at the Asian Network Comedy in 2025.

Also on the bill are up-and-coming acts Ajay Rose, Dane Buckley, NJ Patel  and Samira Banks.

Dinesh Nathan says: ‘I’m buzzing to host One More Laugh. I did the show before and it was a lot of fun, so I’m delighted they’ve trusted me to come back and will try not to ruin it.’

The show – previously called simply Asian Network Comedy – will be available on BBC iPlayer and BBC Sounds after the event.

Ahmed Hussain, head of Asian Network, added: ‘We want to continue to welcome all audiences whilst still celebrating and reflecting the vibrancy and diversity of British Asian humour and comedy so rebranding our already popular Asian Network Comedy offers a great opportunity to do this.

‘I’m looking forward to a night of non-stop laughter from some fantastic up-and-coming comedians who I am certain will provide some fresh, funny and relatable content that reflects the lives and experiences of our audience and beyond.’
