Aisling hosts her annual foodbank fundraisers

Aisling Bea is again hosting a food drive and benefit gigs for Hackney Foodbank.

She and her comedy friends will be taking over the Bill Murray in Islington, North London, on the afternoon of December 21 with celebrity Santas, mulled wine and the singing of festive songs.

Donations of cash or food are sought – with a list of suitable items here, where you can also mark your attendance.

The following day, Bea performs at two fundraisers at EartH in Hackney raising money for the cause. She’ll be joined by Sara Pascoe (matinee), Katherine Ryan (evening show), Nish Kumar and host Barry Ferns

Last year the initiative raised more than £17,000 and 2.1 tonnes of food – enough for 211 emergency three-day food parcels.
