Third series for revamped Beavis and Butt-Head

Production already under way

The revamped Beavis and Butt-Head has been given a third series.

Work has already started on the show which will air on Comedy Central in the US next year.

The animation originally ran for seven seasons from 1993 to  1997. The series was revived in 2011 with an eighth season airing on MTV.

It was then revived again in 2022 and retitled Mike Judge‘s Beavis and Butt-Head, putting the name of the creator – who also voices both characters – up front.

The series is available on Paramount+ in the UK.

Thanks for reading. If you find Chortle’s coverage of the comedy scene useful or interesting, please consider supporting us with a monthly or one-off ko-fi donation.
Any money you contribute will directly fund more reviews, interviews and features – the sort of in-depth coverage that is increasingly difficult to fund from ever-squeezed advertising income, but which we think the UK’s vibrant comedy scene deserves.
