Who's getting a 2024 Keep It Fringe award?

180 Edinburgh shows get £2,500 of help

The Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society has announced the recipients of the 2024 Keep it Fringe fund.

A total of 180 shows across all genres will each receive a £2,500 bursary to help them put on a show at this year’s festivals.

The scheme is funded by a £1 million grant from from the Department for Culture, Media and Sport  over two years, and this year it received 749 applications.

Shona McCarthy, chief executive of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society, said: ‘We know that for many artists the financial challenges of putting on a show can prevent some from coming to the Fringe, and this funding will enable the Edinburgh Fringe to be more accessible to artists from across the UK.’
