For long-distance couples whp have never met in person

Dawn French is to narrate a new Channel 4 dating format.

The comic will provide the voiceover for   The Nevermets, in which couples who have met online and formed long-distance relationships, finally get to meet in person for the first time. 

First, the UK partner travels to meet their international love, where they will spend a week getting to know each other before making a decision about the future of their relationship.  For most, the next step is for their international partner to visit them in the UK – but not all.

The six-part series launches on Channel 4 on Friday May 24 at 10pm.
