With Gyles Brandreth, Josie Long, Suzi Ruffell and Nina Wadia

Scala Radio’s Classical Comedy Club is returning for a second series.

Gyles Brandreth, Josie Long, Suzi Ruffell and Nina Wadia will each be hosting a Sunday evening show for the broadcaster celebrating the lighter side of classical music. A fifth name has yet to be announced for the final episode

The show starts at 6pm this week  with Ruffell, pictured, who said: ‘It was great to spend some time at Scala Radio sharing my favourite classical pieces, film scores and a fair few numbers from my favourite genre: musical theatre.

‘I hope the listeners enjoy my choices and listening to why these pieces mean so much to me.’

A first series aired on the digital station last year.
