Series six focusses on poet laureates

Frank Skinner’s Poetry Podcast is returning for a sixth series.

The new eight-episode run – which launches today – will focus on poet laureates including Carol Ann Duffy, Simon Armitage, Ted Hughes and Ada Limon.

The comic said he was ‘bursting with enthusiasm for my new series,’ adding: ‘This time: poems that discuss why a naked man threatened firefighters with their own hose-nozzles, why we are all carrying an invisible ladder and why writing a poem is a bit like a really smelly fox crossing a snow-covered field. I love this podcast.’

The show is available on all mainstream podcast providers.
