US comic Jacqueline Novak announces UK dates

American comic Jacqueline Novak has announced a run of London dates.

The stand-up will be bringing Get on Your Knees – which is billed as as ‘the most highbrow show about blow jobs you’ll ever see’ – to  Soho Theatre from March 29 to April 2.

Described as ’ann unexpectedly philosophical show that’s part feminist outcry, part coming-of-age tale of triumph’, it started life as How Embarrassing For Her at the 2018 Edinburgh Fringe.

It then  enjoyed an off-Broadway run in New York, where it was extended six times and earned her a Drama Desk nomination for outstanding solo performance.

Her TV credits include Late Night with Seth Meyers, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and he Late Late Show with James Corden.

And her memoir How to Weep in Public: Feeble Offerings on Depression from One Who Knows was published by Crown in 2016.

Tickets for her London run are on sale now.
