Comics lined up for ITV2 series

Comedians Darren Harriott and Suzi Ruffell are taking part in the next series of ITV2’s  Celebrity Karaoke Club, it has been announced today.

The broadcaster has also announced a drag spin-off series for the autumn.

As well as the comics, those taking part in the original show this summer are  presenters Yasmin Evans  and AJ Odudu, radio DJ  Sonny Jay, singer Amelia Lily, Blazin’ Squad’s Marcel Somerville, social media stars Max & Harvey and reality TV names Olivia Attwood,  Brian Dowling,  Tanya Bardsley,  Mark Francis Vandelli and Jordan Davies.

Meanwhile Karaoke Club: Drag Edition will air in autumn and feature Manila Luzon, Trinity The Tuck, The Vivienne, Danny Beard, Freida Slaves, Tete Bang, Cara Melle, Gingzilla, Vinegar Strokes, Lil Test Ease, Mahatma Khandi and Crystal.

• Darren Harriott also fronts a new CBBC show Would You Rather?, which starts at 5.35pm tonight, posing such questions as  ‘would you rather go backwards or forwards in time?’ or ‘would you rather moo like a cow or bark like a dog after every sentence?’ Guests in the series include comic Helen Bauer.
