Tracking four would-be comedians

Netflix is making a fictional series about  four young comedians trying to make it in the Paris stand-up scene.

Screenwriter Fanny Herrero - who previously made the comedy-drama Dix Pour Cent about a theatrical agency - is developing the idea.

It was announced as part of a raft of new French-language programming as the streaming service officially opened a new French headquarters in the heart of Paris.

Dix Pour Cent, pictured, is already available on Netflix, with an English language version, entitled Call My Agent!, reportedly in development.
