Fox renews Seth MacFarlane's sci-fi comedy

Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane’s sci-fi comedy series The Orville has been renewed for a third season.

The series, set on a spaceship 400 years in the future,  has been performing well for the Fox next work,  averaging 10.7 million total viewers in multi-platform audience.

MacFarlane starred alongside Adrianne Palicki, Penny Johnson Jerald, Scott Grimes, Peter Macon, J Lee, Mark Jackson, Chad L. Coleman and Jessica Szohr.
