Ahead of his autumn Showbiz tour

Frank Skinner has announced his return to the Edinburgh Fringe after five years away.

His live career began back at the festival in 1987 and four years later, he scooped the Perrier Award. 

He will be performing his new show, Showbiz, at the Gordon Aikman Theatre – formerly the Assembly George Square Theatre – at 9pm from July 31 to August 18.  

Tickets will be on sale from Thursday, when a huge raft of Fringe shows will be announced.

Skinner will then take the show on the road from September 12 until  December 11. Click for tour dates.

He last performed at the Fringe in 2014 with his show Man In A Suit.
