Pleasance announces its showcase line-up

The Pleasance has announced the line up for its annual Comedy Reserve showcase at the Fringe.

Josh Jones, Mamoun Elagab, Lily Phillips and Mo Omar will benefit from the career lauchpad, which is financed by the venue as part of its commitment to develop new talent.

Previous beneficiaries have included  Jack Whitehall, Roisin Conaty, Doc Brown, Lou Sanders, and Joe Lycett.

The Comedy Reserve takes place at the Pleasance Dome at 9.30pm nightly during the festival.

Meanwhile, the Best In Class showcase, which aims to improve the representation of working-class comics has also announced its roster.

William Stone, Jordan Gray, Wilson Milton, Hannah Platt, Ash Preston, Kimi Loughton, Fran Garrity and Charlie George will be taking part in the show at The Counting House at 3.30pm daily.
