End of The Road festival announces its 2018 comedy line-up

As does Bluedot at Jodrell Bank observatory

The End of The Road festival has revealed its comedy line-ups.

Satirical podcast The Bugle is one of the highlights, with Andy Zaltzman joined by Alice Fraser.

Other headliners are I, Daniel Blake star Dave Johns and Mark Watson, perform his latest Edinburgh Fringe offering, The Infinite Show. 

Elsewhere on the bill are: Rob Auton, Angela Barnes, Andy Zaltzman, Laura Lexx, Catherine Bohart, Scott Bennett, Questing Time podcast, Sarah Keyworth, Running on Empty improv with Paul Foxcroft, Briony Redman & Richard Soames, Evelyn Mok, John-Luke Roberts, Bisha K Ali, Olga Koch. Alice Fraser, Universilly Challenge quiz hosted by Bec Hill & Sarah Bennetto, Garrett Millerick, Jessica Fostekew, Alex Kealy, Ben Van Der Velde

The festival takes place at Larmer Park Gardens, near Salisbury from August 30 to September 2, one of the last events in the summer festival season.

The line-up for the Bluedot festival, held at the Jodrell Bank observatory in Cheshire from July 19 to 22, has also been announced.

Comedy headliners David O'Doherty, Cassetteboy and Rob Kemp’s The Elvis Dead show are supported by Simon Munnery, Robin Ince, Gary Delaney, Jessica Fostekew.

It also features music from the likes of The Chemical Brothers The Flaming Lips, and Public Service Broadcasting and talks from scientists and thinkers including Richard Dawkins, Jim Al-Khalila and Alice Roberts.
