With Gardener's World presenter Adam Frost

BBC One is set to transmit a one hour RHS Chelsea Flower Show special presented by Adam Frost and comedian 

Jennifer Saunders is to present a one-off BBC programme about the Chelsea Flower Show.

The comedian will join Gardener's World presenter Adam Frost for The A- Z Of Chelsea. She said: ‘It’s been my life’s ambition to spend my time talking to Adam Frost about bedding.’

Paolo Proto, executive producer of the BBC’s Chelsea Flower Show coverage, added: ‘To have Jennifer Saunders present a preview to the most prestigious flower show in the world makes it even more exciting, as a keen gardener herself you can guarantee she’ll do it with a touch of playfulness that viewers will love.’

 The A- Z Of Chelsea will be broadcast on BBC One on Sunday May 13, a week before the event coverage begins.

The Corporation is committing around  15 hours to Chelsea coverage will be transmitted across BBC One and Two, with other presenters including  Mary Berry, Nick Knowles, Chris Bavin and Jo Whiley.
