£100k raised forAs It Occurs To Me

Richard Herring has released the first episode of his crowdfunded show As It Occurs To Me.

A total of 3,736 fans pledged £107,403 – an average of almost £29 each – to make the six episodes.

They feature professionally filmed sketches between live segments filmed at the Leicester Square Theatre, co-starring Emma Kennedy, Dan Tetsell and Christian Reilly.

The show started life as a podcast, but Herring turned to Kickstarter after successfully crowdfunding his talk show.

Distributed by indie label Go Faster Stripe, As It Occurs To Me episodes will be released weekly for free. But extended versions all six episodes, plus outtakes and other extra material, is available here for £15.
