Dave announces series 5 launch date

Dave has changed the launch date of the new series of Taskmaster.

On Tuesday,  the broadcaster announced that series 5 was due to return on Tuesday September 12.

However it has now revised that to be Wednesday September 13 at 9pm.

As previously revealed, the team for series five comprises Aisling Bea, Bob Mortimer, Mark Watson, Nish Kumar and Sally Phillips.

Greg Davies returns as the titular Taskmaster, with series creator Alex Horne as his sidekick. 

Challenges over the eight-part series include painting a rainbow in total darkness, creating a watercooler moment using a watercooler and making Marmite.

Episode one will be available from Wednesday  September 6 via the on-demand service UKTV Play before its broadast the following week.
