Phill Jupitus leads Greater Manchester Fringe highlights
The Greater Manchester Fringe has unveiled its 2017 programme.
Phill Jupitus will return with two show: as Porky the Poet in his new Survivalve show and in Achtung! Acting! in which he takes the roles the stage legend Vernon Herschel Harley and German WW2 U-boat ace Korvettenkäpitan Kurt Schiffer for an hour of improvised comedy driven by questions taken from the audience.
Talk Radio presenters Iain Lee and Katherine Boyle will be hosting a ‘prerecorded phone in podcast’ taped in front of a live studio audience.
The comedy acts include Abi Roberts, talking about her experiences in being the first UK comedian to perform in Russia and in Russian, George Zach, Ruth E Cockburn and Katharine Ferns.
And Boris The Musical features the satirical story of the Foreign Secretary, featuring such songs as I'm Talking About Brexit, Posh Lads and BeLeave!
