The biggest UK improv show ever
Shoot From The Hip to play Eventim Apollo
Shoot From The Hip are to play what’s believed to be the biggest show ever by a British improv group.
The team have announced they will be performing at the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith, West London, on October 4 – the first UK improv group to do so.
Luke Manning, Sam Russell, and Tom Mayo started performing improv together while at university and later added Alexander Jeremy, mostly known as AJ, to the troupe.
Based in London, they have built their fanbase online with over 3.5million followers, including 2million on TikTok and sometimes perform with guests, including the likes of Max Fosh, Kiell Smith-Bynoe, Tanya Reynolds and Finlay Christie. They have monthly residencies at the Leicester Square Theatre and Bill Murray alongside other gigs.
Tickets for the Apollo show are available here.
They will not, however, be the first improvisers to play the venue, famed for the BBC stand-up series Live At The Apollo.
American comedians will be there on June 6 as part of the Dropout Improv UK tour, featuring performers who regularly appear on indie comedy streamer Dropout’s shows, including Jacob Wysocki, Kurt Maloney, Jeremy Culhane and Kimia Behpoornia.
