John Bishop announces 2027 tour

Going on sale the same day Is This Thing On? opens

John Bishop has announced a major UK and Ireland tour for spring 2027.

The Liverpool-born comic will perform his new show, Let's Go Round Again, at some of the biggest venues across both countries in April and May.

It comes after his 25 tour last year, celebrating his quarter-century working in comedy.

He said: ‘After my 25 tour, I thought I would take time off, but I loved it so much I am itching to get on the road again. Nothing beats being on a stage and hearing people laugh.’

‘I am looking forward to spending this year working on the show and developing new material because I know: will come round fast.’

The announcement comes ahead of the UK cinema release of Is This Thing On?, a new film inspired by Bishop's life and directed by Bradley Cooper, who also stars alongside Will Arnett and Laura Dern.

Bishop is due to return to BBC One later this year hosting a new entertainment series, Wisdom Of The Crowd, from the makers of Lee Mack’s The 1% Club.

Tickets for the new tour go on sale at 10am next Friday - the same day Is This Thing On? opens
