Chris & Rosie Ramsey Show 'shelved'

Latest twist in on-off saga

The Chris & Rosie Ramsey Show will not be returning to the BBC.

Today’s Sun reports that a third series will not be going ahead in an ongoing on-off saga.

In July 2024 the paper claimed the talk show had been shelved following two series, but in November claimed the series was back on again. Now, it appears, the show is not coming back.

It was launched in 2022 on BBC Two off the back of the success of the married couple's hit podcast Sh**ged Married Annoyed, and returned for a second series, this time on BBC One, in 2023.

The BBC declined to comment on today’s report, while programme-makers Avalon have not yet respond to a request for comment.

Roise has previously spoken of the demands of doing the podcast, the tour and the TV show all at the same time.

The chat show - which is now streaming on Netflix – usually featured celebrity couples as guests, such as Katherine Ryan and Bobby Kootstra; Joel Dommett and Hannah Cooper; and Martin and Shirlie Kemp.
