MANCHESTER: American stand-up Taylor Tomlinson is on the road after her CBS late-night show After Midnight wrapped up last month. She has three Netflix stand-up specials to her name: Quarter-Life Crisis (2020), Look At You (2022) and Have It All (2024) and her new show, Save Me, comes to the O2 Apollo today; King's Theatre in Glasgow on Tuesday; the Eventim Apollo in London on Thursday and Saturday, and Dublin's 3 Arena next Sunday.

NUNEATON: The Abbey Theatre & Arts Centre hosts an afternoon and evening of Edinburgh previews, with £14 getting you peeks of shows from copper-turned-comic Alfie Moore, and other circuit faves including Ian Stone, Markus Birdman and Patrick Monahan.

DERBY: Another all-dayer at Bar One features works in progress from Hayley Ellis, Rob Rouse, Stephen Carlin and more.

Monday July 7

LONDON: Hold on to Your Butt, a manic two-man Jurassic Park parody, begins a three-day-a-week residency at the Arts Theatre. Schedule and tickets.

LONDON: Athena Kugblenu and David Whitney are among the comics fundraising for Hackney Night Shelter at the Backyard Comedy Club in Bethnal Green.

Wednesday July 9

LONDON: American comedy powerhouse Bill Burr heads to Eventim Apollo – though the gig is, understandably, long sold out. The stand-up and podcaster has made numerous specials, had notable acting roles in The Mandalorian and Breaking Bad as well as Old Dads – the film he wrote and starred in – and the animated comedy F Is for Family, which he co-created.

Thursday July 10

LONDON: There's always a strong weekend line-up at the Comedy Store, and this week is stronger than most thanks to the imposing presence of Scottish-based Canadian Tom Stade alongside Danny McLoughlin, Jarred Christmas, Javier Jarquin and Laura Lexx.

Friday July 11

LONDON: Former Saturday Night Live cast member Leslie Jones comes to the Leicester Square Theatre. She's also a regular on Our Flag Means Death, was the first guest host after Trevor Noah left The Daily Show and starred opposite Eddie Murphy in Coming 2 America for which she won an MTV Movie Award. Tickets.

LONDON: The Italian-Jewish-American stand-up Gianmarco Soresi flies in from New York to perform his latest show The Drama King at Union Chapel. He'll be back for the Edinburgh Fringe (and a sold-out date in Glasgow) next month.

Saturday July 12

GLASGOW: Laughs In The Park returns to the Queen's Park Arena – aka The Bandstand – for a fifth year of open-air LOLs. And this year, it's extended to the Sunday too. Today's line-up includes Des Clarke, JoJo Sutherland, Rosco McClelland and Joe Kent-Walters as Frankie Monroe; while tomorrow's Sunday Service includes Adam Rowe, Connor Burns, Susie McCabe and more.
