Sky to air Rob Beckett’s Giraffe special

'The funniest and most honest show I have ever done'

Rob Beckett’s latest stand-up tour, Giraffe, is to air on Sky One on Good Friday, it has been announced.

The tour, which began in 2024, took Beckett to 144 venues across the UK and beyond, selling more than 200,000 tickets in total and finishing with nine nights at the London Palladium.

Beckett said: ‘Stand-up comedy is the thing I love most in the world. From watching all the greats on VHS and DVD as a kid through to doing my first stand-up gig 17 years ago. This show is a culmination of all that hard work.

‘It’s the funniest and most honest show I have ever done. I just hope the people that watch it enjoy it as much as I enjoyed performing it. Cos I fucking loved it.’

Beckett has just been jointly nominated for a Bafta with Romesh Ranganathan for their series  Rob and Romesh Vs. He also co-hosts the podcast Parenting Hell with fellow comedian Josh Widdicombe, which has been downloaded more than 500 million times.

Sky will air Giraffe special at 2am and 9pm on April 3, and repeat it on April 4 and April 8.
